A day to remember

Hello, this time I’m going to write about something very special for me. Maybe I don't have many important days to remember, especially because I don't have a good memory hahaha. But I have a day that I’ll never forget, that is March 27^th in 2012 when I asked to a beautiful girl if she wanted to be my girlfriend, that day she said “yes” to me, that day and that made me very happy.

From that day we have shared a lot of moments together, some bad and some good, I think just like many other couples, but we always finish together and happy to be one besides the other. Each march 27^th we celebrate one more year of our relationship so we spend all day together, walking for different places and buying gifts for the other. Even for me the number 27 is my lucky number because my girlfriend and I have our birthdays in December, Her birthday is on December 2^nd and my birthday is on December 7^th, so we never forget none of these dates. I really love her and I can’t imagine my life without her.

My Favorite Singer

Hello, today I’m going to write about my favorite singer. Since I was a kid I listen different music’s styles but I believe that one more important that let me many good memories, that was rap, more specific I listen Spanish’s rapper named Nach. His music gives me energy in many moments of my life.

His real name is Ignacio Fornés Olmo. He launches his first album in 1994 but I listen his music since 2008 when he launched an album called “Un dia en suburbia”. He always sing rap and my favorite songs are “Anochece” and “Hoy converso con Miguel” because he sing rap mixed with poetry, you can feel the emotion that he try to transmit in his songs. He define rap according the letters of the word that is Rhythm, Attitude and Poetry, I really like this definition because the rap always is used to say something important for the rapper and the songs always have this three things.

Actually I heard other styles of music like Japanese music or reggae, but I continue heard songs of Nach because that brings me very good memories.

My best vacation place

Hello, today I talk about my favorite vacation place J. That was Pucon, a city of Chile at the Region of Araucania. I go there in summer of 2012 with my family, my three brothers and my parents; we rent a house in Pucon for the time that we are there.

Pucon It´s a beautiful and small city in the middle of lakes, forests and a volcano, the Villarrica Volcano, that we climb a little and we can play with the snow that is there, snow in the summer!!  Other place that we visited are lakes and rivers near of we are rent the house, the rivers there are very cold because their come from the ice of the mountain so we can’t swimming there. By the opposite side, the lakes are too warm, the water there is perfect for swim. We go to the Caburga’s lake and there is a beautiful place too. My vacation there was very relaxing and I can to enjoy many beautiful landscapes of the south of Chile.

A photograph

Hello, I’m going to talk about a photograph very funny for me. I took this photo at 13^th August of 2013. I was in the home of my girlfriend and I see her cats sleeping together in the sofa, then I decided to take a photo of them. When I take my cellphone for the photo, my girlfriend was standing behind me, calls her cats for them names: “Sony! Chico!” and then they both look at us in the same time! That’s was very funny for me and my girlfriend and I take the photo with they two looking us.

Her cats are twin brothers with blue eyes but with different color of fur, they always are together and do the same things together too, it’s a fun time when I arrive to the home of my girlfriend and the Sony and Chico are meow together to her for have a some of food.

My Favorite Movie

I really like the movies of mystery and drama, also I like the science fiction movies like matrix, star wars or others like that, but my favorite movie is “I am legend” a film of the year 2007. In this movie acts Will Smith like a virologist and Alice Braga plays a survivor that travels with her son.

The movie is about Robert Neville (Will Smith) a virologist who searches for the cure of a virus created by the man and infected the whole world, so Robert thinks that he can be the last man in the world. Robert lives in New York with his dog Sam and survives searching food in the city or hunting wild animals. Originally the virus that he tries to cure was created by a doctor as medical treatment for cancer but the virus mutated and transformed the people in monsters.

The more shocking scene for me is when Robert is attacked by infected people and his dog appears Samantha rescued him, fighting against the infected ones but she got very wounded and finally she died. That scene gives me a lot of shame, but I wouldn’t change anything in the movie, I really like it.

My Favorite Piece of Technology

Hello everybody! today I'm going to write about my favorite piece of technology. I like the technology a lot because I think the technology is a very useful tool for the daily life of the people.

My favorite piece of technology is my notebook or personal computer, because it is a present from my father when I entered to the University, I really appreciate that. I use it for a lot of things, principally for university works like searching information for the subjects or study with the Power Points that are up loaded on U-cursos (the website of the University). Also I use it to play videogames with my friends but that is unusual in the week. I normally turn on the notebook in the night when I arrive from the University or from any other place.

I think that if I don’t have my notebook, searching information for the university works would be very difficult and slow.

My Subjects

Today, I'm going to write about activities in university period. I'm studying psychology and this is my second years in the career because I only have six required subjects. The one I like most is "Psicología del desarrollo" because the class are very interesting and I like know about the way of development in the people.

Besides of the required subjects what I’m taking this semester I only taking English as another subject. During my free time I play in basketball’s court near of my home, I really want a basketball’s team in the university with which I can practice in the week.

I expect in this academic period learn more about psychology and his different currents of thoughts.

Welcome First Class

My name is Felipe Céspedes, I'm nineteen years old and I study psychology in the Faculty of Social Science at the University of Chile. I live with my parents and my three younger brothers. I like to practice sports with my friend and other people who like the same sports as me, specially basketball and parkour. Also I like to play videogames with my friend and have dates with my girlfriend. I considered myself good in English but only in written English, because I can read and understand the English very well however I can't understand if the people speak in English. I hope to have a better English in the end of this course.
